FunGates is an innovative programme that enables both the teacher and student to achieve maximum results with minimum pressure. FunGates is geared towards creating the most effective and comprehensive learning experience for every child to reach his/her full potential.
I have chosen the name FunGates because I firmly believe that learning must be fun for children, and gates are entry points to a child’s most critical and formative first six years of life. A child’s first entry must be filled with memories of enjoyable, challenging and fun learning experiences.
It is my belief that positive reinforcement through praise, encouragement, recognition, and rewards for every child should be employed; therefore building a child-friendly and pressure free environment to facilitate fun learning is our top priority. Fun is a universal language for all children, but the demands of early childhood education through traditional methods have robbed children of the joy of just being a child.
The FunGates System challenges each child to achieve maximum academic performance through minimum pressure. FunGates gives every child a strong foundation to take on any challenges in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, Math, and Science. Strong emphasis is also given to building integrity and values as part of the character development of a child, thereby producing children who perform better academically, socially and spiritual.
The schools that adopted the FunGates System and have come under my training share the same vision. We stand united as strong believers of the uniqueness of the FunGates System and the positive impact it has on the children that we all love so dearly.
